He is a percussion teacher in the Orchestra Department of Harbin Conservatory of Music, a master's degree in percussion performance from the Graduate School of Music of New York University in the United States. He graduated from Central Conservatory of Music affiliated middle school in 2010, and was admitted to the Yang Xiutao School of Music of the National University of Singapore in the same year, where he received a full scholarship. In 2014, he was admitted to the Graduate School of Music of New York University in the United States to pursue a master's degree and received the highest scholarship. He has studied under the guidance of Chinese Central Conservatory of Music percussion professor Zhao Ji, Mr. Jonathan Fox (principal percussionist of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra Timpani), and Mr. Jonathan Hans (professor of percussion at New York University and principal percussionist of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra). In 2008, he won the third prize in the youth category of the first International Percussion Competition in China, and in 2019, he won the first prize in the adult category of the Lipinski International Marimba Competition. During his study abroad, he has represented the school in many exchange performances, with his footprints in many countries such as Japan, France, Austria, etc. He has been recognized and praised unanimously by many experts and scholars. In many years of performance and study abroad experience, he has accumulated rich performance and teaching experience.
