The orchestra also performed the small symphony "Nine Songs of Millet Dance Yellow River Formation" by the famous composer Cui Bingyuan and Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 in B minor. (Wang Kang, a college student) In the percussion concerto, the first movement is dark at night: for me, it is a process of adaptation and learning percussion. This movement makes me feel that it describes percussion without leaving any traces. The content described in it was also forgotten by me after completion, but inexplicably drove my emotions and made me full of expectations for the following movements. The second movement is the Water Tune: This is the part that impressed me the most in this work. The percussion player Zhang Jingli sang "When the Moon is Full" while playing, which is distinctive and a highlight of the whole concert. Adding this Song Dynasty poem not only enriched the movement elements, but also deepened my understanding of the percussion concerto. The third movement is the Wind: The third movement is the most exciting part of the concerto. The player Zhang Jingli vividly demonstrated the skills of high-level percussion, and the solo percussion brought long-lasting applause from the audience.
