Mozart's 40th Symphony
This piece adapts Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 into a Latin American-style percussion work. Driven by the sound of timbales, a percussion instrument characteristic of Latin music, dozens of instruments create a celestial soundscape. Its rhythmic energy fills the audience, who sway with the beat as performers and listeners become one, culminating in the performance’s high point.

《Meditation No.1》
The work created by Casey Cangelosi, a famous American composer and percussionist, for the solo of Snare Drum in 2011, this unique solo uses a variety of contemporary Snare Drum playing techniques to present a fascinating new solo piece. It explores some sounds and techniques that are not commonly used in this musical genre. For example, frequently using drumsticks to hit the edges of the drums, the mutual hitting between drumsticks, and finger hitting the drum surface to pursue changes in tone.
3
Alice
This piece has a similar effect to the percussion ensemble’s arrangement of Mozart’s Symphony No. 40. Accompanied by the sound of timbales, a Latin music percussion instrument, audience members and performers sway and hum together.

This work was created by Argentine composer and accordion virtuoso Piazzolla. Based on his comprehensive and systematic classical music training, he creatively integrated the compositional styles of traditional classical music and jazz, elevating tango music from popular dance accompaniment music to a highly artistic pure musical form that can be displayed independently on stage and express profound philosophical ideas. He thus founded the "Tango Nuevo" music school, becoming one of the representative figures of Argentine culture and an important figure in the history of South American music. In Argentina, Piazzolla is revered as the "Father of Tango" and the "National Treasure of Argentina". Free Tango is one of his most famous works.

《Tico-Tico》
"Tico-Tico" is a shoró music composed by Brazilian composer Zezé Abrunha. The Portuguese word "crying" literally means "to cry". Because the original style was relatively low, sad and sentimental, but later it gradually developed into a joyful and cheerful style. When playing, everyone can feel the high emotions of the dancers, and their dance steps gradually become enthusiastic and chaotic, like birds foraging on corn! Therefore, this song was named "Tico-Tico No Farelo", and later renamed "Tico-Tico No Fuba", which is loved by the Brazilian people. Please release your enthusiasm and dance happily with us.
